Johari - Going Mobile!

Johari has been going mobile as we head to events to showcase the amazing product ranges we have to offer. It's great to get feedback from customers and even more fun generating sales.

Johari Price Increases

With rising energy and commodity costs in Africa it is proving necessary for Johari to increase the cost of our products.
We need to ensure that through the sale of our products we can still support the Miale Programmes and if you are a regular visitor to our site you may have noticed that over the past couple of weeks we have had to increase the pricing of some of our product lines. We hope that this price increase will not prevent you from making future purchases and that you will continue to enjoy the beautifully crafted hand-made products from Johari.

Johari at Home

Johari at Home, is our fabulous range of new homeware products.

Utilising our trademark tree line print we have developed a range of tableware which includes a runner and napkin set. To complete the look there are also some intricate napkin rings, designed and expertly crafted by one of our artisans.

In keeping with the homeware collection and treeline theme we have also released two styles of apron. One a fiftys style which will impress and make you look like a domestic goddess and the other a contemporary bib apron which would suit male or female.

Eilidh's work placement

My name is Eilidh Cadden and I am in 4th year at Balerno High School. For my 4th year work placement I was lucky enough to find a placement at Johari in Edinburgh. My week was spent working with Ruth and Laura in the Johari Foundation office in Edinburgh. My week was spent editing photos for the Johari Foundation website and helping to set up a Facebook page for Johari the clothing brand with Morvern a graduate student from Caledonian University.

Johari Seedlings - kids range

Johari Seedlings is the exciting new range of kids clothing from Johari.

The striking prints from some of our Johari range have been used to develop funky kids t-shirts for 4-14 year olds and also some small bags.

Johari Seedlings is a range that we are aim to grow and nurture in the coming months. Look out for the kids on our Miale programmes and kids involved in our Step up for Kenya programme modelling the t-shirts in the coming weeks.

Go on, check it out!
